Disable CD/DVD drive in windows

If you want to disable your CD/DVD drive in windows then you can look below for steps to follow.

Open up device manager:

You can open device manager by three methods

- Right click on My Computer
- Click on Manage
- Expand System Tools
- Click on Device manager

2:

- Right Click on My Computer
- Click on Properties
- Click on hardware
- Now click on Device Manager

3:

- Click on Start
- Control Panel
- Administrative tools
- Computer Management
- Device Manager
- DVD/CD-ROM drives

Now after opening Device manager:

Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives and disable that drive you want to be disabled
