Keyboard character delay settings

When we press and hold a key it repeat itself after a little time and keep on repeating with a specified frequency (i.e 5 letters per second).
You can increase and decrease these 2 times.

Change the delay before keyboard characters repeat:

1. Open keyboard from control panel (click on start > control panel > hardware and sound > keyboard)
2. Under Character repeat, move the Repeat delay slider to the left to increase the amount of time you must hold down a key before the keyboard character repeats. Move the slider to the right to decrease the amount of time before characters repeat.

Change the speed at which keyboard characters repeat:

1. Open keyboard as explained above
2. Under Character repeat, move the Repeat rate slider to the left to make keyboard characters repeat more slowly, or to the right to make them repeat faster.
