Change your Computer's IP (Internet Protocol) without restarting anything (with the help of CMD)

Posted by Edward
When you visit a website your IP address is recorded. There are some websites that give you some services in very small amount. For example if you want to track someone's IP address, you visit a website that gives that services for free but you can only use that for given amount. Mostly 5 times you can use that service and after that they ask you to upgrade your account to get extra volume.

This limit works because of IP address and cookies.Because they uses your IP address to recognise you but if you change your IP address they can recognise you by cookies saved on your computer. When you track IP address 5 times after that remove cookies from your browser and change your IP address. This is the best solution to get free volume of service again. If some website had blocked your IP address for some reason then you should change your IP address to access that website again.

You can change your IP address without any trouble by the help of CMD.

Steps:

1. First of all remove all cookies after removing cookies follow below steps. ( You can use cCleaner to remove cookies properly )
2. Press R while holding windows key will bring up run utility.
3. Type in that CMD and hit enter. ( You'll get a window similar to DOS OS )
4. Now when you get CMD type in that ipconfig /release and hit enter. ( If you want to see your current IP settings then only type ipconfig and hit enter. If you have more then one connections to your computer then type ipconfig /all to have a look on IP settings of different connections )
5. As you entered command for releasing your IP address so now your old IP address is released. Now you have to get new IP address.
6. You can get new IP address by entering ipconfig /renew and hit enter. You'll get new IP address if this command is successfully completed.

Note:
If this did'nt worked for you then restart your modem or any router you are using to connect to internet in order to get new IP address.
