Find someone's IP address while chating with him on Facebook, Yahoo or any other

If you are chatting with some unknown person and if he is sending you abusive messages then you can simply report abuse or if you you want worst for him then find his IP address and then trace that ip on website like whatismyip. After tracing is complete they will give you location of IP address in a map or written and give the name of internet service provider by using which he is connecting to internet. Contact that internet service provider and ask them that Person from this IP address is abusing me. This is helpfull to protect your account because that person could be a hacker.

Steps to get IP address:

- Invite person to chat and start chatting with him
- Make sure that all other tabs in browser are closed and try to close other services in Windows
- Also try to delete all cookies, cache and browsing history from your browser
- Now, while chatting on Facebook open command prompt (Click on start then click on run and type cmd and press enter   OR   simply press Windows key + R)
- When command prompt is opened type in that

netstat -an

and hit enter.

- Here you will see IP address of all established connections.

- Note all the suspicious IP's and trace user using IP address tracer sites like whatismyip etc.
